Professional Baby: resumes for tiny professionals

What is Professional Baby?

Professional Baby writes a LinkedIn-style profile for a baby, in the language of a future job you pick for them: a headline, an About section, work experience, education, skills, endorsements from colleagues, recommendations from household objects, and an announcement post. Enter the baby's birthday, pick a future job (more than 120 to choose from), add a personality trait or a milestone if you like, and share the profile with family and friends.

Questions

Is it free?
Making and sharing profiles is free, with no account or sign-up. The printable profile and the birthday keepsake are free to download with a “Preview” watermark; clean versions are US$4.99 each, or US$7.99 for both, with a 30-day no-questions refund.
What ages does it cover?
Babies from birth to 3 years. Enter the baby's birthday and the profile shows their real age (for example 7 months). The link carries the age in weeks and the birthday's month and day, never the year. Traits and milestones are offered only for ages they fit.
Who are the Mutual Connections?
Famous people born on the same day of the year as the baby (“Ronald Reagan, Babe Ruth and 7 others share a start date”). The list comes from Wikidata and was reviewed by us. They're just birthday twins: none of them is connected to Professional Baby.
Whose job is it?
The baby's. Pick any career you can picture for them, from more than 120 future jobs: your own, a family tradition, or a dream job. Searching for a specific title, like cardiologist or dental hygienist, finds the job it belongs to. A future nurse gets shift-change humor, a future software engineer gets sprints and deploys, and everyone gets some universal office humor. Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and friends all make them.
Is it written by AI while I wait?
No. Every line was written ahead of time with AI help, checked against our content rules, and approved through a human-led review before going live. The site picks from those approved lines to put your profile together.
Do you save my baby's name?
Only if you share the profile, add a photo or ask for a creator link. Making a profile stores nothing: it lives in its link. When you press Share or get a creator link, we save a short link with the baby's first name and the profile's details so the link keeps working. With a photo, we also keep the photo (90 days unless you keep it longer). A birthday keepsake keeps the baby's birthday so you can download it again, and a purchase keeps a record of what was bought, never your name, email address or card details. See the Privacy Policy.
How do I share it?
Press Share on the profile: copy the short link, use your phone's share menu, or post it to Facebook, LinkedIn, X, WhatsApp or email. The preview shows the baby's name, future job and headline, never the photo.
Can I add a photo?
Yes. Add one on the form or by clicking the profile picture, then crop it to the circle. Your browser shrinks it and removes hidden details like location before it's saved. Anyone with the profile's link can see it. Photos are deleted after 90 days unless you keep them longer, and you can delete yours anytime. Only add photos of your own child, or with a parent's permission. Rather not use a photo? Pick one of our cartoon baby avatars instead: nothing is uploaded.
How do I send feedback or report a line?
Every profile has a “Report a line or send feedback” link to a short form that sends us your note along with that profile, so we can see exactly what you saw. You can also use the feedback form directly, or write to contact@professionalbaby.com.
Can I post it on Instagram?
Yes. Press Share, then “Story size” or “Post size” under Save as image. You get a picture of the profile (with the photo, if you added one) to share from your phone or download. It's made when you ask for it and isn't saved.
Can I print it?
Yes. Whoever made the profile finds “Printable profile” under “Options and downloads”: a one-page PDF on US Letter or A4. It's free with a “Preview” watermark, or US$4.99 for a clean copy ready to frame.
What's the birthday keepsake?
A one-page keepsake for the baby's birthday: famous people born that day, what happened on that date in history, and a time capsule of the week they were born (headlines, songs, gas and egg prices, mortgage rates, the Dow). Free to preview; US$4.99 for a clean copy, or US$7.99 with the printable profile. Whoever made the profile finds it under “Options and downloads”.
What if my baby was born this week?
You can get the keepsake right away. Everything about the date is ready at once: the famous people who share the birthday, what happened on that day in history, the birthstone, the moon that day and more. The time capsule is the one part that waits: we write up each week (Monday to Sunday) in our update the following Monday, so for a baby born this week it's added after next Monday's update, up to a week after the birth. Until then, the time capsule shows the date it will be added, and the page carries a “Not finished yet” watermark so it doesn't get printed early. If you've paid, your purchase covers the finished version: come back with your creator link after that Monday and download it again. We don't ask for your email address, so we won't send a reminder.
Can I get a different version?
Yes. Press “Options and downloads”, then “Another version”, for a new profile with the same details.
Can I change a line I don't like?
Yes. Press “Options and downloads”, then “Swap lines”, then ↻ next to any line to swap it for another. The link remembers your swaps, so the people you share it with see your version.
Can I edit my profile later, or on another device?
Yes. Ask for a creator link: we can email it to you, or you can copy it. Open it on any device to make another version, edit the details, swap lines or change the photo; everyone who has the profile's link sees your changes. We use your email address only to send the link and don't store it. Keep the creator link private.
Why can't I change a profile someone sent me?
Only the person who made a profile can change it, print it or make another version, on the device they made it on or with their creator link. Everyone else can share it, or press “Make one for your baby” to make their own.
